| Wooly & Patrick get suprise presents (Rucksack,Camera,notebooks) and are told they are going on a mystery trip on a big boat called a Cross Channel Ferry |

Bursting
with excitement, the pals take their seats on the Ferry and take
a 7 hour trip over to France
!!

Arriving
at Le Havre on the top deck,
they drove off the ferry and took it in turns driving a route to
Paris, but don't tell the Gendarmes
Shhhhhh...

Once
at Paris, they booked into a
Camponile Hotel and nabbed the top bunk, then hit the town to see
the Eiffel Tower and the River
Seine...

 |
|
The
next day they drove down the west coast to La
Rochelle put up the tent and camped, waking early (Ew
!) to visit the old town and beach.....

 |
|
Spending
some time at the old Fort walls.
|
 |
|
The
next day they moved on to Chataillon Plage
to a nice campsite with a Pirate ship and a Pool !!!

Sunbathing
with Dad and sitting by the pool relaxing after all the hard driving...

Campsites Chef and walking on the local beach...

Mum cook stew on the new Trangia...

After
spending 5 glorious days in Chataillon
Plage, the Pals hit the road again & find Lacanau
Ocean...

Camped
in a Beautiful Pine forest edging the sea, the boys go hunting for
pine cones...

.....and
prepare an area for the camp fire.

 |

The
next day Wooly & Patrick
visit the Beach and bathe in the glorious sunshine !

 |
|
They
watch the surfers for a bit and then try and decide whether the
swim in the sea or the Pool...

Very Big Ant !

Ready
to hit the road again towards Spain,
they decide to let Dad drive as its going through the Pyrenees
mountains !
